Question

I used file recovery software to recover many deleted songs from a hard drive. A lot of the track/files are broken but the good ones are scattered randomly. I'm dragging maybe 20 tracks at a time into an empty S1 song then soloing/naming each good track. This is quite a chore and I need a way to mute all tracks regardless of if they were previously muted or soloed. I know I can shift/select the first & last tracks then mute all but that is getting a little tedious. I tried to find or create a macro with no luck. Anyone got any ideas?

You can also pack all tracks and then mute the folder, but that is probably just as much work as what you are currently doing.

I know some other DAW's provide buttons to Arm, Mute, etc. all tracks.
