I have Studio One . It's the 2.5.1.21166 OSX x86. My operating is the Mac OS X 10.6.8. Can I upgrade to a new operating system with out loosing files. JBrindo@aol.com

Assuming that your Studio One project files are stored somewhere other than with OSX, you should be fine.
That said, you should always backup your work. Just copy them all to a thumb drive.
