MacBook Air 6G ram quad core 3Ghz processor. But only 1 USB and 1 thunderbolt... No Ethernet....

Due to the architecture of the MacBook Air Series and the fluctuation of the processor, as it throttles up and down when various programs and processes are being used, the MacBook Air Series are not a suggested and or supported MacBook Series supported for audio production and or usage with Digital Audio Recording.
