Question

I have Studio One Prime, recording my guitar using the AudioBox Go. Still learning how to work everything, its a lot. I have recorded guitar tracks and managed to insert a drum loop in a project Ive been working on. So far I have pieced all that together to make a decent first little song. I found a bass sound in the presence insert that I like, fingered bass. I can play along to the track with the keyboard, but when I go to record a line, nothing happens. It shows that it is recording, but when I play back, nothing. Any help would be hugely appreciated to actually record a bass line.I dont want to have to actually buy a bass to do this.

what did you do exactly, when the recording failed ?  let's start from scratch :

i simply have to 1.)drag & drop the presence instrument into the track-window, 2.) find a bass-sound, 3.) activate the recording/solo/listen buttons and then 4.) start recording by klicking on the record button at the bottom.

take a look at the picture and try it exactly like this, good luck a.t.m.
