Is it possible to send the direct out of a single input of my Presonus  FireStudio Project to the matching out in the back. I want to send a direct injection of just the same input, to the output in the back. I do NOT want a stereo mix out, just the individual channesl If I got 8 inputs, I want eight direct outputs of just each channel to the proper out

Yes, the FireStudio Project is loaded with internal flash memory so that all FireControl settings are saved and recalled in the FireStudio Project during power off/on. This allows you to configure your FireStudio as a standalone device, without being connected to a computer for uses such as a submixer, A/D and D/A-converter, headphone mixer, format converter, instrument, or microphone preamplifier.

This can be done via the Universal Control software that operates the unit. This is listed in the manual on page 22 of the Project's Manual:
