Question

I have tried everything and checked all my settings and watched multiple YouTube videos but cannot get studio one to show any incoming signal in a new record track.

I am using a Scarlett 2i2. Have tried different mics and even a digital signal source. The Scarlett works just fine and the mics record with voice over in Final Cut Pro. So I know that it is not a hardware issue.

I can drag a file into Studio One and edit it, but no matter what I do I just can't get a signal into a new track.

Have you done the 'audio input/output setup' settings?
