I have a folder with many sessions , Each time added different instruments then would do Save-as -- for drms , Bass , horns , piano and such . when I try to save to a new folder then it makes each one a new folder , but need to put like , 4 sessions of drums together so they share the same media folder, then do the same for Guitar, bass, piano ---the main folder is about 11 gig now.. I tried to get rid of unused files or media and then the other sessions are now empty and can't find the info. I should have been doing remove unused to start with but now trying to fix it .. I was able to get all my data back and work ok for now , it's just too big and there is most likely parts not needed anymore , but they are all sharing for now ... also this is on my iMac 27 .. Even if I rename the session and save to as new folder, then not sure how to get the rest of the media organized ... I have watched many videos and none address this kind of issue ?

the answer for me , was to open a session and then go to browse and clean the pool , the save the session , then I made a new folder for my song and called it drum takes...now did a save to new folder and it went below in Drum takes ... now i opened that folder and went to that media folder and copied it's audio to the main media folder of drum takes and then took the new session that had copied over and did a drag and drop it into the above folder --drum takes , now delete the old info and can open that session and be more organized , but the bottom line was for me to start cleaning up a session each time I use it and get rid of unused files and copy external content to the session .. hope this helps someone else , because I could not find out how to bring that old info over and get more organized.
