Question

I am building a new computer for audio work in Studio One 6. I want to make sure that I get all the necessary specs right. I have seen the Studio One 5 recommendations, but since 6 has video editing, I assume the graphics should be improved. Can anyone advice from experience what is enough? I intend to use plugins extensively.

No system will support endless (infinite) plugins, so you'll want to quantify that a bit.

The other factor is latency.

Do you need to run endless plugins while in low latency input monitoring mode or just while mixing?

I do my video work in Premiere Pro and it definitely has an opinion about the type of graphics adapter.

I'm not sure Studio One is that picky.
