Beside the input L it says 'disabled 1' and besides input R it says 'disabled 2'. How do I overcome this?

I have a IK multimedia AXE IO but i am unable to input audio into Studio once 6. Beside the input L it says 'disabled 1' and besides input R it says 'disabled 2'.  How do i overcome this? I have added the AXE IO as my input on my laptop and speakers as my output.
