The new CQ series has a mode where it automatically sets the gain based on the input level (e.g. during a sound check), and then a separate mode, intended to be left on during performance, where it can automatically lower that gain if the input is close to clipping. (Note that this second mode never *raises* the gain). Please add this to the Series iii lineup or its successor, since it is very helpful for volunteer operators or set-and-forget mode for small gigs.
