Problems with Camera on iMac with AudioBox VSL Series
We've encountered an issue with some Apple i-Mac computers where the camera will stop working with the AudioBox VSL series interfaces connected.
It would appear as though even though our device is externally powered, the power structure of some i-Macs draws power for the camera on the USB bus.
The AudioBox VSL is a full bandwidth USB device, thus any device shared on the same bus may not work correctly (or at all).
Two options are available if this occurs to your system:
1) Use an externally powered USB hub for the USB connection on the AudioBox VSL Series.
2) Turn off your camera
There is no change to the AudioBox VSL series interface that can be made to make this work any other way.
