Audiobox USB has no line inputs so while I can connect my tube preamp with a balanced XLR or unbalanced instrument cable, the tube is in effect useless since I still have to run it through the worse preamp in the interface. Is there anyway to bypass this or am I out of luck? Should I use an unbalanced or balanced cable in this scenario? Thank you.

"The Audiobox USB has no line inputs"

A line in would be the only way to bypass the built-in preamp.
