I tried to use ADAT on UC to connect an external preamp, and can't change back from ADAT. Driver setting are greyed out

Driver settings are greyed out and no option to change back. was working fine until I tried to connect an external preamp. updated to latest firmware. can't find any solution online. Logic Pro x will not not recognise my studio 192 interface.
