I recently upgraded from Studio One Artist 3 to the full version of Studio One 3, shortly thereafter, the full version started crackling on me. I use the Studio 192 Audio Interface. I optimized my computer for all of the audio settings. Also, I ran empty song with no crackling. However, when I ran a song with an instrument input it started crackling. Also, just to mention, when I hooked up a microphone and created a track for it, it also crackled. This is not a computer problem, as I have a high efficiency laptop and have optimized everything. I also downloaded another daw (Reaper), and received no crackling. I ordered a usb 2.0 just in case it was that, but because the Studio 192 works well with a foreign daw, I believe this is a Studio One problem. If this problem is not resolved I am going to have no other option than to start investing in another daw and count the Studio One investment as a waste. As of now, there is no possible way to create a song on Studio One with this crackling. The crackling is occurring during recording and playback.
