Today while recording a session, everything seemed perfectly normal. It was a mostly vocal song with one instrument track. The vocalist was doing all the different parts herself, so after the the initial recording, I played it back several times while she sang the other parts. During this time it played back perfectly, but I noticed the time (current location indicator) was running slowly. After I finished recording, some minor editing, and listening to it many times to make sure I had everything I needed, I unplugged my computer from the mixer. I liked the sound of it so much, that I opened my laptop so I could listen one more time, but when I pushed play, the audio is playing two to three times as fast with the time seeming normal. My computer is a MacBook Pro with an i7 processor running at 2.9 Ghz with boost up to 3.6. I'm running the latest version of Capture, and my mixer is a 16.4.2 non AI. Any ideas to what I might be doing wrong?

You will want to make sure that the Sample Rates on the Mixer Match those of the Capture Session that you are working in.

You should also make sure you have the latest version of Capture 2 installed, as there was a bug affecting Capture 2 (and Studio One 3) on Mac that causes the .wav files created to be tagged with the wrong sample rate. The file itself is recorded as the sample rate the mixer was set to, but the metadata for the file incorrectly labels it as a different sample rate, causing software that tries to play the file to play it as this mis-tagged sample rate.
