I have spent a month recording a full live band. I have a problem with the snare track.I used some plugins on the snare track (code red free) which is a free plugin which has locked the snare track and I cannot disable the plugin at all. Studio one just hangs everytime I try to do anything with the snare track. I cannot delete the track as this also makes it hang. I have spent hundreds of hours on this recording and just want to be able to delete this one track which is not happening. It is affecting everything and I can't even export to mix down or export the whole track to a project. I have even removed the plugin from my vst folder but it makes no difference.

I am running the latest version of Studio One 3 on a Mac quad core i7 El Capitan 10.11.6 with 16gig of ram.

Any help would be much appreciated as I cannot do anything at the moment.

Best answer
1.  Launch Studio One and go to Preferences > Advanced > Services

2.  Disable all plugin support there, AU, VST & VST3.

3.  Restart Studio One.

4.  Open the song.  If it opens, remove the placeholder plugins for Code Red Free anywhere you used it and save the song.

5.  Go to Preferences > Advanced > Services and turn all plugin support back on.

5.  Restart Studio One and if that plugin was the cause, the song should load now.
