Do i need to use studio one 64bit to benefit from 16gb ram

I want to upgrade my ram from 8 to 16gb, do I then have to use 64bit version of studio one

The answer to your question is yes.

In order to be able to access RAM above 4Gigs, you must run a 64bit Operating System as well as 64bit DAW.
