Need help burning CDs and creating DDP Image for my Project. Studio One says I do not have a CD burning service installed. I tried downloading the following link http://www.gearsoftware.com/downloads.php?dir=updates/windows/drivers/&file=Driver_Installer_x86_x64.exe

and I installed the professional demo from the Gear website. Gear does recognize my cd burner/driver...

but I still get the error message saying CD burning service not installed when I try to burn or make an image.

I do not see a service for cd burning under Services in the Advanced options section of Studio One...

We have seen this issue before with certain combinations of CD Burners and Windows Operating Systems. It is usually on Windows 8. In each time that I have seen the issue, upgrading to Windows 10 was what the final resolution was. I just want to start with that, to save you some time. If you want to try to troubleshoot the issue, here are some things you can try:

1. Make sure that you are updated to Windows 8.1 and that you have installed all of your Windows updates.

2. Try uninstalling Studio One 3 and re-installing the latest version from your my.presonus.com account.

3. Try creating a new user profile on your machine. Log into that Windows account and test for the issue once more.

4. You can try removing the settings files from Studio One and re-configure:

a. Go to Help>Open Settings folder.

b. Copy the contents of the folder over to a folder on your desktop.

c. Close S1 and delete the contents of the settings folder with the exception of the user.license file as well as the "Extensions" folder.

d. Open S1 and go to Studio One>Options (Preferences on a Mac) to reconfigure your settings.

e. Test to see if the problem is resolved. If it is not, please feel free to copy your settings files back over from the backup that you created in step 2.
