Studio One 3 Needs to Continue to Build Up Its Default Interface and Controller Configurations - Rather Than Taking them Away Without Notice.

Over the last couple of years, default interface templates as well as default Midi interface Configurations have just disappeared without notice. Studio One Users whom update their copy of Studio One end up finding out the hard way that their default controller setup that was in Studio One, is no longer there and rather than making it easy for the User to continue to operate as they have been; they end up having to scramble to figure out what went wrong. Many times blaming themselves, thinking that they broke something or that their is something wrong with their hardware or computer. When they do realize that something was changed, they end up again scrambling to figure out how to get their configuration back to their operational status. They end up loosing quite a bit of time and nerves.

** many of us old timers remember that we always had to configure these things manually ourselves, but that is no longer the world we operate in. The new generation has a Plug and Play mentality and expects things to work like they have been and they do get very deterred when a wrench is thrown into their workflow ( without notice) which hinders and takes them away from being creative; and using the software for what it was designed for.
