Question

I follwed the instructions and now if im watching a youtube tutorial and op[en Studio One i get an error that it failed to open Speakers (AudioBox USB Audio)

Make sure that you have installed the latest driver for your Audiobox USB.  Here is a link:

Open Studio One and go to Studio One>Options>Audio Setup and make sure that you have selected the Audiobox as your audio interface to use the ASIO driver.

In Studio One go back into Studio One>Options>Advanced>Audio and check the box to release the audio device in background.

Just encountered this issue opening Studio One after reinstallation.

For me the solution was to check the "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" box in Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound -> Currently Active Playback Device -> Properties -> Advanced.

Just incase someone stumbles across this question as I did while trying to solve this issue.
