I own a C-1U microphone. I have Studio One 3 artist edition. I left a question yesterday regarding my microphone picking up little to no sound (barely any type of waves visible, playback comes out at a very low volume). I received help immediately and was told that my microphone needs phantom power and that I should be using an audio device of some sort. Being a beginner I wasn't really sure what all that meant so I did my research but it turns out the C-1U mic is a USB mic designed specifically to be plugged in straight into a computer. Therefore is there anything I can do about this problem? Or will I need to purchase an XLR mic with an audio box?

Try using the ASIO4ALL driver to use that mic with Studio One instead of using the Windows Audio driver.  It's not officially supported for use with Studio One but it may be a better path than using the Win audio driver for USB microphones.
