When quantizing tracks, what is the benefit of converting the bend marked track to an audio track? I've seen it dong on You Tube tutorials but they did not explain whay?

Does it sound better?

Does it free up the CPU on playback?

Does it look better (although you can toggle between viewing the bend markers or not already).

"Does it sound better?"  No.

"Does it free up the CPU on playback?"  Yes, real time stretching always uses cpu although the difference is likely negligible in this case.
