The mixing fader for track #1 just disappeared from the mix view after I added automation. It still appears up top in the edit view, AND it appears in the channel list to the left of the mixing window, where next each track is a dot that is normally white, but when you click on it, the track goes dark, it deselects, and the track disappears from the mix view, until you select it again. The track #1 seems to be permanently deselected, and when I press the dot to select it, the track flashes into view in the mix section for a millisecond and then disappears again, and it remains dark and unselected. It's a real problem because I need to go into the FX on that track and do some more editing and automation.

I've tried double clicking on the track up in the edit view, which normally brings the track in question right into view, and it hasn't worked. At this point, it sure seems like Studio One a VERY buggy software, as this is not the first issue I've had with it.

Please help.

It may be some kind of random incompatibility between the old song format and the new.

-  Create a new track of the same type, audio, instrument, etc.

-  Copy the media and plugin chain over from the "stuck" track to the new track.

-  Delete the "stuck track"
