How do I go about mixing for live theatre?

Hi.  Have just got a CS18Ai and RM32Ai system.  Am using it mix sound for a school musical.  Can anyone advise on the best way to do this?  By using Scenes?  Filter DCA groups?  Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
