Is it possible to eliminate the "handles" that appear on an audio event/part when bouncing or merging?

When merging or bouncing (consolidating) events or parts, extra space appears on either side of the resulting event/part. This is disruptive because it sometimes covers up other small events. Is there anyway to prevent Studio One from creating this extra space in the event/part?

Hi,

If snap is on when you execute Merge on audio clips the Audio Part will snap to the nearest Bar, both edges, creating the extra space you talk about.  If snap is off it will bet the exact size of the combined events.  In the first case you can always still manually resize the Audio Part.
