Question

I've just DL'd a demo version of Studio One 3.5 with an eye to moving from Cubase pro 9. In cubase we have the control room feature which is a very handy section for dealing with talkback and the like but I can't seem to find any information about a talkback feature in SO3 - does one exist?

I have the option to do it on my hardware (RME Madiface) but the cubase control room automatically turns it off when recording back on when stopped or playing and a quick toggle key.

Any help on this would be great.

Hi,

There is no built-in talkback feature in Studio One currently although given how the extended FX chains and splitters and all of that work in Studio One you can probably set one up somehow.   There may be a feature request for Control Room type features here already, if so, vote it up;
