Feature Request: Unlink Talkback and Dim Functions

Whenever the talkback mic is enabled on the Quantum, the dim function engages automatically. This poses a problem: since the talkback mic is just a regular audio stream, dimming the overall output will dim the talkback volume along with any other audio. This kind of defeats the purpose of having a talkback mic.

Currently, the (clumsy) workaround is to add a lot of gain and compression to the channel strip the talkback mic is routed too. This, however, creates a great deal of noise and distortion.

Naturally, there are situations when dimming the output together with enabling the talkback mic is necessary, but it many cases this feature creates more problems than it solves. If this linking were an option (managed, say, in the UC app), that would satisfy all possible needs. It’s not even necessary to route the talkback mic directly to the output (outputs) internally; it would be sufficient to provide an option for unlinking the dim function from talkback.
