Question

I tried to understand your explanation, but if you use other channel for measurement microphone (Number 4 for example) SMAART software can use this firewire channel.
The loop back can be avoided - is not necessary to send back in mixer via firewire the microphone signal.

If that's the case, mine is going back.  I called on Wed of last week to inquire about this very topic.  Pre Sales told me yes!  I get the 16.0.2 today and have yet to figure it out.   I have called and can not get support on the phone.  I'm to the point that I'm not getting a good feeling about presonus (tell me one thing on the phone, website states clearly it works, and now no support... and the community says it can't be done) !   I may order a different product and ship this one back if I can't get it answered by tomorrow.

My name is Dave,

Smaart is packaged with Active Integration (AI) models only. Though there is Smaart RTA and spectrograph on the main bus only on the 16.0.2(non AI)

I've mixed on a 32.4.2ai at least twice a week for the last two years. Ive spent lots of time in Studio One 2 and Capture 2 also.  Maybe I can be of assistance to you somehow.  Let me know!
