I'm deciding between purchasing a quantum and quantum 2 interface and

If the upgrade is only valid for the Quantum, I'd rather spend the extra $150 and get more I/O to start with.

$1150 Quantum ($900) + 50% upgrade for studio one professional ($150)

$1000 Quantum ($700) + upgrade for studio one professional ($300)

From what I understand, the extended 50% off Studio One upgrade discount is only offered to owners of the Quantum (original) at this time.
