I think it would be great to open up "Insert/Delete Time" and already have the range highlighted you've selected entered in the fields. Currently, it defaults at start: {current measure}; end: {current measure} + 1 which makes sense if no ranges are selected, but just seems more intuitive to have the function grab the selected range, if one exists.

I must be missing something.

If you have a range selected and choose "Delete Time", it simply removes the audio from the selected range.

The funny thing it does do: It leaves the selection even though the audio under the selection has changed (audio was deleted). In my mind the selection should disappear with the audio that has been deleted, but that's not the current implementation.

Because the selection doesn't change, at first it confuses many to believe the audio wasn't removed.
