Does Notion 6 have the availability to transcribe from audio file or cd?  If not, is that something that the team is working on making available and when?

Notion 6 will not convert audio to notation.  You would have to use a program like Melodyne inside of a DAW to convert the audio to MIDI.  You could then export the MIDI to a file and drag it into Notion.
