had to restore my pc back to factory sittings and product key no longer works.

Have you set up a My Presonus" account? Have you registered your products there? If so go to your account >[software] > Studio One, and re-install from your account!

even logging into with my old email add, it still saying nothing is registered.

Contact support to get this resolved. They will have the ability to get into the account information, and clear up any log in issues.
