Hej,

is there a way to tell S1 when importing tracks to combine non-interleaved mono-files to a stereo-file? I have some multitracks with files like this: OH.L, OH.R, Pad.L, Pad.R. These could be combined to stereo, but I don't see how to do it.

Logic X just combines these files as default on importing. If I don't want them to get combined I have to rename them to something different like : OH.L1 OH.R1. That's a good solution.

Or is there a way in S1 that I'm not seeing?

Thanks,

JC

It can be done but compared to Logic the process is different.

Navigate to the files in the file browser. Selecting the two mono files and then right-clicking on one of them allows you to choose 'Merge to Stereo File'. This will create a stereo file in the same folder. Splitting a stereo file to two mono files works the same way.
