Question

Hi all; is there any mathod to split stereo track to two mono tracks not from browser. In Pro Tools you can right-click on a stereo track and choose 'split to mono tracks'. This is faster and more intuitive than having to do it the files browser. The function is there already, so it basically only needs to be added to the right-click options for a track.

Even better would be to be able to convert a track to real mono by only using one side of the stereo file with one click.

Why is this still not a thing in S1? I often have my files deep down in the file system hierarchy, and I have to find the correct audio file using S1's file browser, which is a PITA, really. Why not adding this right-click option at least in the Pool?
