Hi, I already own a copy of studio one 3 pro. I am thinking of purchasing a studiolive 24r interface that ships with a licence for studio one artist, would I be able to give this licence to a friend/ coworker for his own use, or will this version be restricted to be used in conjunction with the hardware only?

I also own both and from what I have seen license assignment is not tied to a piece of hardware. In your my.presonus.com account you can see your licenses separate from your hardware, as well as where and how many activations you have.
