I'm testing out Studio One.  I made a one track simple piano that I exported to 44kHz/ 24 bit .wav

I noticed that file had some low level noise included.    I did the same export at 44kHz/ 32 bit float .wav  and the noise was gone.

Any ideas what can be happening?

I used one track of soft synth using Presence and no FX of any kind anywhere, no clipping.   I have Windows 7 PC, RME Babyface Pro.

I'm considering moving from Cubase - I don't get any of those issues with Cubase.   Maybe I have some set up wrong somewhere?

You should probably examine the source song to see where the noise is coming from.  It may or may not be the case that 32-bit moves the noise floor down and makes it less audible, but the root cause is the source of the noise.   Seek it out in your song and try to remove it, even if you have to go channel by channel.
