I need to know if I am doing this right.

So I've recorded some audio with my guitar and then sent a section of that audio to SampleOne for modulation and filtering.

Now I wish to return this altered audio sample back into the main track view as an audio piece but I cannot find a way to do it. The only way I can find to do it is to press record on the main transport bar and then press whichever key on my midi keyboard that this altered bit of audio is assigned to inside SampleOne to be able to record it back into the main track view but as a midi track.

Is there a simpler way to do this and to retain it as an audio file?

Thanks.

You can create a Bus and then send your SampleOne track to it.

Then create a new track and use the Bus as the input source and record.

Your SampleOne output will be recorded on this new audio track.
