Instrument track is rendered cluttered

When I record from the digital piano (Casio Privia PX 850) to the instrument
track, Studio One records musical notes that I played plus the values of two
MIDI controllers: one is related to the extended precision of MIDI velocity
(this is something that my digital piano uses and sends) and the other one
is related to the sustain pedal of the piano. This is all OK.

The problem is that the instrument track is rendered very cluttered on the
screen because values of MIDI controllers are shown over musical notes and
you can not see musical notes (especially when the zoom factor is low).
The biggest problem is the controller data
related to the extended precision of
MIDI velocity as it is quite dense and jumpy and thus it is rendered as a lot of
lines that hide musical notes.

My suggestion is to let the user to choose to not show controller data in
the instrument track visualization. You can add a new setting for this. If the user wants
to look closer at the controller data, the user can open a separate lane or
track or start editing data. The instrument track visualization is used more like
a global view to
the music so it is important to be as readable as it is possible.
