It would be  nice to have a modulation tool in SO1 to make easy modulations of every parameter of every plugin. Just drag'n drop e. g. the lfo to the pitch knob (or the parameter in a list) and done. Like it is in Bitwig, very easy, intuitive. SO1 should not stay behind.

Completely agree with you and the concept, it's maybe in waveform 9 too.

that was my reply on a similar request :

"That would be so great!

Like having a section (a simple list or 2d space with nodes) where you can create an unlimited number of modulators (lfos, steps, random, bezier curves mesures, and more) and assign those to any parameter(s) in a similar way as a automations, on plugins knobs, track volume/pan...

(and once it's assigned having a ghost automation curve preview in the automation section of the track)

That would be also smart to have the type of modulator inside the modulator settings and not different type of modulators component so we are able to switch the type after the modulator has been created and assigned on many things.

That would give us the possibility to modulate many settings with one knob only if desired, and make pretty cool effects everywhere procedurally heart.

Hope folks at Presonus think that it would be nice to see too."

Yes please! I think studio one is great but lagging behind in lots of ways. This is one of them for sure. Of course you can use the pen tool to make automation that work like lfos essentially, having devices that you can link to several parameters as opposed to drawing automation separately for each would be great. Bitwig is on to something but if studio one would implement some more modern modulation features too, that would be nice. While we are on the topic. The whole effects and synth sections need an overhaul/update as well. A wavetable synth, or maybe something lime harmor in fl. And studio on only has very basic insert fx. If you look at fl, abelton, bitwig, reason even, there are so many more effects. Granular for example, or something like corpus, or even as simple as erosion, there are so many options these days. Add to that to modulation devices inside the studio one framework and studio one would be hard to beat, given you implement enough to be competitive in that area. Sure there are third party plugins and workarounds, but at the cost and recurring cost of studio one, these things should be native. Lets get up to date and let's be competitive. A competitive fully functional  daw in 2022 should everything up it sleeve you could possibly use to make a tune and at the very least be neck and neck with the competition.
