When I connect my NSB-series stage box to my AVB network, I hear digital artifacts.

Your NSB stage box must be clocked externally from your StudioLive Series III mixer. To do this, you must assign an output stream from your StudioLive mixer to your NSB stage box, either in UC Surface or from the touchscreen on your StudioLive Series III console.
