Chord symbols often won't allow me to place more than one chord per bar in Notion 5

I often can only add one chord to a bar in Notion 5, although sometimes it works.   I select the C7 optin form the palatte and click on the start of the bar and enter a chord name but if I then click on another position then it creates the edit box over the previousy entered chord (as the start of the bar) and entering a chord name replaces the previous one.

Is there a known issue with entering chords in the middle of a bar and is there a workaround?

Thanks

Simon

Sorry for the delay in answering. This issue is resolved in Notion 6, where you can place chords anywhere in a measure, without needing to attach it to something as well as drag chords anywhere.

But for Notion 5, there is a workaround where you add rests in the measure first, attach the chords to the rests, then hide the rests. (There's a more sophisticated version of this workaround where the rests are entered in voice 2 and then hidden - this allows other rhythms to be added in voice 1 that might not line up with the chords)
