Audiobox USB 96 and mac OS 10.14 Mojave

I run Logic Pro X on a MacMini with an Audiobox USB 96 interface.  Worked fine until I upgraded the OS to 10.14 Mojave.  It worked fine in 10.13 High Sierra.  The computer and DAW still see it the Audiobox, but wasn't getting audio from it.  I followed the PreSonus recommended actions (Microphone setting and update UniversalControl)...

Now, upon a reboot I can get sound through it, though there is an unreasonalbe amount of noise.  If I pull the inputs all the way down, there is still a significant amount of noise being registered with the DAW, but not coming through the headphones (and I did adjust the mix knob to check).  If I hit record, it's just noise and a faint click.  If I try adjusting the DAW settings (like the sample rate or input/output), it just fails to get anything from the Audiobox until I reboot.

I haven't tried a reinstall of Mojave yet, but I'm tempted to revert back to High Sierra unless anyone has any other troubleshooting steps that I should try.

I reverted back to High Sierra with a clean install.  Had the same issue.  Dug through every audio setting in the OS and the DAW.  Still nothing.  Audio was making it into the Audiobox just fine, but not getting into the computer.

I replaced the USB cable and it started working again.  :-/

Thanks for the response rickhy.  But I don't use Studio One.  The issue appears to be with my Audiobox.

Had a similar problem and adding a usb hub between the audiobox and mac resolved it.
