Question

I have a question about my new Quantum2 and Universal Control. I have 4 outboard preamps plugged in via TRS cables. Two in front and two in back. However the volume control on the Universal Control effects to the amount of signal reaching my DAW on channels 1 & 2. Where is the volume change coming from if the Preamp is bypassed when a TRS is inserted in the smart jack?

Quantum 2 does not have line ins on the first two channels. They are instrument inputs.
