How do I insert a stereo processor such as a compressor into a StudioLive 16.4.2 AI mixer?

I have a stereo external compressor that I want to connect as an insert to my StudioLive 16.4.2 AI mixer but how do I connect it in stereo?

External hardware can be connected to the mixer using the inserts on the mixer and the correct Y cabling.
