hey all, im fairly new to DAWs but have been good with computers for the most part, after getting the atom bundle with pro software i went and bought an external SSD that's a 500 gb model. my plan was to install studio one into the SSD and everything for it so that i could use it both for my desktop that has a 2 tb 7200rpm drive and Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3408 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) as well as my laptop that has an 512 gb SSD, 16 gb of ram and intel i7-8550U. but after reading online it seems that most recomend installing everything onto your system drive and using a secondary drive to store completed projects or other things. so my question is what is the best use of the external SSD and where should i install studio one to or what parts should be installed at which location. Any reply back will be of great help, mainly just want to make sure im making the best use of all my hardware so as to make everything run as efficiently as possible

In my opinion, you would do better to install Studio One on your system and store projects/files on the removable device.  You'll free up some system resources this way.  Not much, but anything helps.
