You need to send your audio from your DAW into the mixer. 

Send Ch1 in your DAW out Ch1 and on Ch1 on the mixer change the channels input to firewire. This should then have that audio. Repeat until you have all the channels you wish to have. Then in your DAW inputs 33/34 are the main mix from the mixer. 

You can include the fat channel processing by changing the digital send options to Post, Section 2.3.3, point 5 in the manual
