Hello

This is a pre-purchase decision question. Asked another way; can I perform RTA room measurement without a computer or laptop; using a rack mount mixer, wireless router, iPad running UC, and measurement mike?

For background, I’ve read the hardware and UC software manuals. Since the RTA function is embedded in the SMAART section it is not clear if RTA has the same requirements as SMAART. I’ve search Knowledge Base and Forums and haven’t found the answer. As an aside I recently auditioned for a band with a ********* X32. I tried to get the User Manual prior and couldn’t find it. Their forum support claimed it existed but didn’t link to it. When I tried to join to ask I was not able. When I emailed tech support about joining I never got a reply or solution. Poor support like that discourages me from investing in their products.

Thank you.

You need something to evaluate the signals/tones being generated and sampled. The Series III does not have a tone generator so you need a 3rd party solution be that an app or a piece of software like Smaart running on a computer.
