Brand new ERIS 8 pair out of the box.  As soon as it sticks to instrumental sounds reproduction, everything seems OK but when it comes to voices, things are wrong and the speakers seem to fail. I've not yet tried w another cable type but my TRS very OK on any pthoer device i own. I will buy some XLR's (i have brand new TRS but i've two of these and each one separately operated does the same, so it is not the cable... but maybe the plug type in the speaker). I've tried setup on my computer, on my tv, my phone, our ipads. Almost the same issues w voice/voices. But what is strange is that it looks like an anti-voice filter that shut down the speakers when voices appear during play... (!) I think so because as far as it is instrumental (only) music, that's great but as far as the singer(s) start(s), it's getting weird and awful (distortion, up and down volume, cut-oof then recover...etc.
I'm quite familiar with speakers and so on but this is a really strange issue. It does not look like a defect or a failure but like an on-purpose buildup.
Though i cannot imagine why ! :)
Thx for ur help
Kind regards
JD

That is weird I use the E5s with the Temblor T10. I have 2 XLR cables from the monitors going into the Temblor outputs and 2 TRS cables going from a Studio 1810 outputs going into the Temblor T10 inputs. No problems in mixing
