I want to play the guitar or synthesizer, to add some effects on iPad, and then to record the sounds on PC (or mac).

For this purpose, can I use AudioBox iTwo by connecting it with both iPad and PC simultaneously?

(I'm NOT asking how to add effects to sounds on iPad or how to record the sounds on a DAW.  My question is about the route of signals.)

Also, when one connects iTwo with both iPad and PC, is the sound signal output from the LINE OUT of iTwo affected by iPad, by PC, by both, or by none of them?

Thank you for your help, and sorry if I overlooked similar questions.

Unless the product was specifically designed to work with multiple devices, then typically you cannot do this. This is especially true with PreSonus interfaces.

We do not support multiple devices connecting and using the device at the same time.

One computer or Tablet device connected at a time.
