...so that audio recorded in the mix process, when there is delay compensation employed, automatically syncs correctly with the existing audio?
I have tried using the 'track delay' function on the track, entering a negative of the total listed delay, which in the current case is 313.2 ms, but that does not seem to work. Also this amount will change as plugins are added and subtracted, so I want to have the audio move into the correct position as soon as its recorded so I don't have to think about it any more. any quick and reliable methods to do this appreciated.
